MEMBERSHIP
Become Part of HSHS
The Health Sciences Honor Society offers two ways to participate. Eligible students may be formally inducted in recognition of academic excellence, while current APU students may join our online community to connect, collaborate, and engage.
Honor Society Membership
Eligible students receive an invitation during June and December. Inductees enjoy full access to all forums, resources, professional development opportunities, leadership positions, and member recognition programs.
General Requirements
- Active APU student pursuing an eligible health sciences-related degree.
- Complete at least 9 semester hours at the university.
- Comply with university academic and professional conduct policies.
Bachelor-Level Requirements
- Cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Completed at least 12 semester hours in major requirements.
Graduate-Level Requirements
- Cumulative graduate GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Completed at least 9 semester hours in major requirements.
Alumni Membership
- Successful completion of the academic program after meeting eligibility requirements.
Community Membership
Students, alumni, faculty, and staff affiliated with APU are invited to join the HSHS community and access selected resources and opportunities.
Requirement
- Must be a current APU student with a valid student ID.
Community Members Can
- Participate in forum discussions.
- Network with students and professionals.
- Access study and professional resources.
- Join community events and activities.
- Explore leadership opportunities.
